2010 SDS

Sooo exciting!

Never have we spent so much time preparing the trails for this ride

Never have we had all the trails riding this well for the ride

The 2 day has been full since the Creasy Lodge was booked in October

The 3 day is filling fast, just a few slots left – get on it YO!

Sorry the honorable Mike Klasmeier won’t be able to make it this year

He is nursing a broken foot for the next few months – DOUP!

Check out one of our missions on the SMT blog

Southern Traverse mission #1

Yes there were 4 more missions needed to clear Shenandoah Mountain Trail from Rt. 250 to Rt. 627

Over 100 hours of preparation with chainsaws, handsaws and our bicycles!

SDS garmin

I'm not too pro at using this thing, but I brought a Garmin 705 along for the ride. The battery far exceeded expectations, and it's pretty cool to see all the numbers. I started it a bit late on day 1, right about when we turned left at the top of the campground, and forgot to hit the stop button till after dinner. Day 2 was good, started right from the lodge and remembered to hit stop within a few minutes of finishing.

That was a truly TRULY epic weekend of riding, thanks to everyone who chipped in.
