The SDS ride is an annual spring bicycle ride from Stokesville to Douthat and back along an amazing singletrack route in the George Washington National Forest. Bicyclists ride along Shenandoah Mountain on the Great Eastern Trail Bicycle Route towards Douthat. The route returns to Stokesville passing through some pristine Roadless Areas along a series of different ridges. Over 100 miles of singletrack maintained by bicyclists for this amazing backcountry singletrack ride.
